Default 2013 ES 300H - ground cable trouble

My car was hit on the driver side and I have to change the left fender bracket which is where all the grounding for the car is located. Unfortunately, the cables are disconnected and I don't have a clue about connecting them back. Went to the dealership first they won't provide any diagrams about the grounding and they want me have them work on the car and I can't find any diagrams to show how the wire should be connected.

Any guidance on this issue?

They may have you on this one - if they won't give you any guidance you may need to have them do it for you. I believe you said this is a 300h. Proper grounding will be critical.

On the bright side, if none of the wires are damaged this should be a easy fix, i.e. cheap. Good luck with that part.

The red and green wires don't look like they are Lexus wires.

Dave they red and green are Lexus wires they connect to a senor 8976B-33010.. the head of the red and green wire was lost due to the accident and I need to find that piece too.

I'm in the process of repairing the car and will have no choice but to take it to Lexus for the missing parts it appears.

They just didn't look like Lexus colors to me. You will want to be very careful working in that area if there is an airbag sensor present. I think airbag wiring is always yellow wrapped. I was having my car serviced some time ago when a Lexus tech installed a sensor upside down and when he started the car he was rewarded with a broken nose and someone had to pay for the airbag replacement.

Maybe search for a good Body Shop? Labor Rate is probably better than the dealership.

I have a 2013 300h. where are you looking? left front fender well? drivers side front? or rear?

can you be more specific on the location and I'll take a look. is it under the plastic fender well?

Good day Bill,

The ground cables shown are on the driver side front fender bracket under the fender liner.

If you are able to take some picture would be fantastic and great appreciated
