New ES 350, "loud brakes"?
Went on a test drive in a new 2017 ES 350. My friend who was sitting in the back complained the breaks were loud. I didn't really hear it driving the car, perhaps it was the back breaks.
Salesman said this was completely normal because of the rust that has been built on the brakes since the car has been sitting for months. He reassured me any sound the brakes make will go away. Is there nothing to worry about? Thanks!

Sometimes the brakes do make noise after the vehicle has been sitting for awhile. Rust will form, just a coating, on the disc even sitting in your driveway or garage if the car sits for any period of time. After a mile or two of driving - and using your brakes - the rust is gone along with the scraping noise. Perfectly normal.
