I have been imagining similar for my '17, but would include the next bar up. I like the earlier ones better. Just to much grill.

Default blackout of center bumper

I did a black out of the center bumper on my '14 es 350 and added a chrome trim at the bottom of the grille
that I got on Ebay.

Looks good, daljaz.

What was the process of doing the grille blackout? Cost? My concern is durability, but yours looks like it's holding up very well...

Default Center bumper black out on 2014 Es

The process was very simple...complete sanding of bumper area, cleaning the upper grille with grease remover,
and spraying the entire grille and center bumper with automotive matte black paint. Total cost for the paint,
supplies and lower chrome trim was @ $100. I live in Fla where lovebugs come out 2 months out of the
year and the paint has held up through two seasons of the lovebugs.

Geo, where did you find the chrome lip?

I Flexi-Dip'ed the silver top grill on mine. (It's cheaper and not as thick as Plasti-Dip)

Default blacked out center bumper

Hi,
I am daljaz...the picture of my blacked out center bumper showed up on Geo's post. I got the chrome lower grille trim from Ebay...@ $60.00. It is made of ABS so
salt, etc. should not affect it. I installed it about a year ago and it has held up very well.

Going to tackle this. But I think a GLOSS BLACK looks much better than satin. Mimicking the Crafted line front bumper
