Floor Mat Color Question
I recently purchased a 2013 ES 350 from a dealer. It is Pearl White with the ivory interior (black dash). I've been waiting 2 months and constantly reminding the dealer to send the floor mats. They finally came today, however they are GS mats and black. Now I understand the GS mats won't fit, but when I brought up the color with the dealer, he said it's normal for Lexus to have the mismatched black mats with the ivory interior. I know this is incorrect because all online pictures show ivory interior with ivory mats, as does the brochure.
Has as anyone owned the ivory mats and had problems with the look/wear in which they would have preferred the black ones? I would like to decide on the color I want before I reply to the dealer.

My '14 ES 350 came with light colored matching cloth floor mats, but I quickly switched to black all weather rubber mats for ease of cleaning. I prefer the black colored mats as they look good with the other black interior trim. I got my mats from Weathertech instead of the dealer.

Agree with Jollick. The dealer is blowing smoke at you. The Parchment interior comes with the identical color parchment mats. They do soil easily with bad weather and mud.
I have a Satin Cashmere Lexus with the Parchment interior. I bought the Lexus all-weather mats (black) for my front mats. You also want to have mats that fit perfectly for your model car. If you have an ES get the ES mats - not the GS mats...

Both our cars have the parchment interior and including the carpet. The carpet mats lasted about three months before looking terrible. I bought the brown mats from Weathertech and they look great. Don't show dirt, don't show every bit of lint and keeps the interior looking light.

Thanks for the replies. The dealer apologized for the misunderstanding and thanked me for informing him of the appropriate color combination. I asked for the black OEM mats. We'll see how they match and hold up. Maybe I'll also buy some ivory ones or all-weather.

My last ES (2014) was delivered with black floor mats even though it had the ivory interior. I was glad it was since my last experience with the light color mats was terrible - they were always dirty. Much of the interior trim was black as was the top of the dash, so I didn't think the black mats were a mismatch.

It seems to be a generational thing, ES's up to 2012 had the matching Parchment mats.
The new body 2013 started the nearly black mats with the ES logo in Parchment. The
light Gray colored interior also got the dark charcoal mats but with gray ES logo.

For the 2013-2105 ES with parchment interior, the entire interior, including the lower parts of the doors and the carpeting was the parchment color. For the 2016-2017 ES with parchment interior, only the upper areas are parchment, and the lower parts of the doors, carpet, etc. are the dark brown. That is why the 2013-2015 ES with parchment interior came with parchment/light color mats, and the 2016-2017 ES with parchment interior comes with the darker color mats.
