I like my 2013 ES 350
I have had the car for three months now, and have put roughly 850 miles on it, all local driving.
I have been driving for many, many years and have owned quite a few cars of diverse types.
Of all the cars I have ever owned, the Lexus ES 350 is the easiest car to drive gracefully that I have ever owned.
It is an absolute delight, and I would unhesitatingly recommend it to anyone who isn't a nit picker, fault finder or habitual complainer.
A wonderful automobile.

Glad to hear of your satisfaction. I also have a 2013 and it is the best car that I've ever owned. Although there are things that I would change, and things that have been changed since 2013, Overall a great automobile IMO. GOOD LUCK with your new car.

Small world.
Where are you in PA?
I lived in Bucks County, outside of Chalfont when I had the model A and it was sold in 1951, when we moved to CT.

I agree that the 13 ES is a pleasure to drive. I have had mine a couple months now and it's a great car with the right balance of style, performance and luxury. My first vette was a 99 and I sold a Corolla and a 2002 Z06 to get back to one car. My next fun car is TBD but for now I am enjoying my commutes more than ever.....

Hello JDR76, small world as I used to live in Chalfont (about 27 years ago) and lived in a small subdivision up the hill from the post office but can't recall the subdivision name...now we are both writing about our ES350's...mine is a 2015 with about 6,000 miles on the clock...wonderful car for us retired folks.

Oh man, I'm a high mileage driver now. I've had mine for 4 months and put about 1k of miles a month. I love my car, it's comfy, but I gotta say that my MBZ ML320 was a smoother ride when it was new. The ES has more comfortable seats, but that's because there's 15 years between the two. I get better mpg with the Lexus over the suv, but that's a given. Oh and it's a more comfortable back seat than the MBZ.

My wife's 2013 ES350 has been the most comfortable and easy to drive car that I have ever owned. The engine is silky smooth, and the transmission reads my mind before deciding when to switch gears. The ride quality is superb even with the 18" wheels, and the backseat is fit for a limo. And the HIDs are stellar! They are so good that I want to retrofit these lights into my Grand Cherokee. Nothing really to complain about except for the high insurance cost, at least here in Houston (Harris County).
And good on ya for posting! I lurked for over three years before finally joining the site. Good bunch of folks here and a strong community. So welcome!

HaHa.. Acropolis... I hear you my friend about the insurance.. I carry fairly high limits but my insurance on my Lexus is around 615.00 every six months... and I got a feeling that following my little fender bender last month it's gonna go up again...

Haha. Every now and then I may need to move to another lane from a stop and in heavy traffic. Punching the gas you get an amazing engine response, but the fwd suspension can't handle it and usually the wheel spin is not fun at all. I've had other fwd cars that give a confident response and takeoff. It's hard to describe.
The other is highway speed emergency lane changes especially on wet pavement. Also navigating a highway at high speed when there is a curve. The body roll makes me nervous and usually I slow down more than I would like. I solved that issue with XL tires which firmed things up nicely. Mine are 17inch so those with lower profile 18s may not have this problem.

I'd make it smoother over bumps. I guess I mean loosen the suspension.
I mean it's better with the bumps than my previous car (a 2013 Honda Accord coupe), but it could be better.
I have a little over 10000 miles on this ES 350 Caviar black that I bought end of July.
Want a car that's a nice ride for an old guy? Try the Mercury Grand Marquis. I have an '02, and everyone is surprised how
nice the ride is. Just don't expect to be picking up many hot women with it......with the Lexus however, maybe you'll have a shot.
