Looking for bird eye maple wood vinyl
I wanna wrap the center part of the gear shift in my 16 es to match my wood. So far I only found this vinyl pictured below. To me it just looks like a ok match. If anyone can find a better match. It would greatly appreciated.

That picture is the bamboo trim, not the birds eye maple.

It's the same shift ****...material finish is exactly the same, it's just the lighting in the picture.

I'm confused about just what part of the shifter you want to wrap. Applying the wrap isn't going to magically change the stitching on your ES shifter and make it look like the stitching on the GS shifter.

Yes, I believe all the current GS models have this new one, not just luxury package. My '15 F Sport has an all leather one, I think it was '16 that they moved to this polished one. And it does indeed appear to be a more polished one, rather than the satin finish in the ES or that I had in my IS.

That was my initial guess, but the OP seems to be expressing a preference for the overall look of the GS shifter, including that of the stitching on the GS shifter, and applying the wrap is not going to do anything to add the GS-like stitching to the ES shifter.
Without being able to make a side-by-side comparison of the two shifters, I'm not sure how different the finish of the metallic parts of the shifters are, but, if I assume that there is a meaningful difference, what would be more important to me than whether the GS shifter has a shinier finish than that of the ES would be whether the finish of either matched the finish of the rest of the metallic-like trim on the interior. The satin look of the ES shifter is the same as the satin look of the trim on the dash, steering wheel, and other similarly finished trim on the ES interior. To me, what would look bad would be to change the shifter to one with a shinier finish while the rest of the interior trim has the more satin-like finish.
That said, if the OP really wants the look of the GS shifter, as an alternative to wrapping the the ES shifter, I think I'd consider just buying a GS shifter ****. That would be an easy swap, and it would give the OP the complete look of the GS shifter, including the stitching. Still, again, I would not want a shifter with one type of finish and the rest of the interior with a different type of finish.
