Trunk Lip Spoiler - Does it "spoil" the luxury look?
As a new 2016 ES owner, my model came with the (optional) trunk lip spoiler.
Given that the ES is starting to look a lot like the LS, I'm not entirely sure a spoiler belongs on an "executive sedan".
It makes the car look more sporty, which I think most ES owners aren't after (although sportiness certainly has its place.... I'm just not sure the ES fits that profile).
Any thoughts are welcome.

Keep in mind the spoiler on the ES is tiny. It's not the average everyday spoiler you typically see.

I have no particular feeling either way. If I had an ES with the spoiler, I'd be okay with that, and I'm okay with one without the spoiler. I don't think that the spoiler particularly enhances or detracts from the looks of the vehicle.

I think it adds something to the appearance and I really like it. I was pleased the hybrid models come with one as a standard option. Since the hybrids automatically come with one, I have to wonder if it doesn't impact the aerodynamics. Remember, they put more focus on fuel economy with the hybrid models.

Mine didn't come with one although I initially would have taken it. However at the time I didn't want to pay extra to have it installed. 2 years into the car I am still without a spoiler and probably won't get one. I am used to the car the way it is. Although I don't think the spoiler ruins the looks at all it does come down to a matter of taste. Go with what works best for you.

I have no spoiler i wanted one but not saying i still don't want one. But even without the spoiler it looks NOTHING like a Camry or Avalon. Those cars look like absolute POS. And the es is pure luxury.

Have any hybrid owners removed the spoiler on their cars? I'm thinking of doing that, on a white car the spoiler doesn't blend with the rest of the trunk kid. I doubt the spoiler does anything for aero in city driving.

If you remove it, you will have 2 holes to fill that are used to mount it to the trunk lid.
