Default My ES300h - 2015 Navigation screen keeps rebooting

The navigation screen keeps rebooting - Shows Lexus logo then warning message, waits a few seconds and then repeats

So radio, navigation and all others functions are not working any more

Any ideas? do I need to go to dealer?

Tons of info on this issue if you just looked around. Need to pull your negative cable for a couple minutes.

Open your trunk, remove the cover to the battery which is on the right quarter, take a 10 mm socket and remote the NEGATIVE battery cable for 5 minutes, replace the cable, replace the cover, start your car, look at your navigation screen and the system will reload. You will be happy................again.

This is hybrid model. So I think battery is in trunk. Is it safe to do anything with that battery?

There are two batteries. The 12-volt battery is about the size and shape of a regular car battery. You can safely touch that battery, one terminal at a time, just like a regular car battery.

The high-voltage battery is _much_ larger. The cables that attach to the high-voltage battery are orange. Do not touch that battery, or those orange cables, at all. Technicians take special training, and have special insulated tools, to work in that area.

The only battery you need to remove the cable from the negative terminal from is the one in the trunk, which is a standard 12 volt battery.
