Default ES 350 Made in USA?!

Hello Everyone,

I was wondering if all of the 2016 ES 350 will be made in the USA or will they be made in Japan?

Thank you

They're already in dealer's hands, so not all.

As Mike states, many of the 2016's are already here from Japan. However two days ago the first AMERICAN built Lexus ES 350 came off the assembly line in Kentucky. So my thought is that from this point forward the 350 for American consumption will be produced here in the states. I may be mistaken, but I think the ES 300 will still be built in Japan.

Bob- I've heard the same about the 300h, which makes sense. I didn't know the 350 have started coming off the kentucky assembly line just two days ago. Good to know. Thanks.

You can check the specific vehicle VIN number to determine its assembly location. The first digit will identify the origin 1= USA, J = Japan

I have been running mostly premium in my 07 rx350. I have on a few occasions run regular 87 and it did seem like I wasn’t getting the mileage that I should be of about 22-24ish highway mileage average so I switched back to premium

Good for you! Posted on a 4 year old, unrelated thread, and in the wrong forum.
