2016 ES 300 Hybrid purchase
Hey there, I've had 2 Lexus LS430's in the past.
I run a Car service & am considering an ES300H.
Car looks great, 40" rear legroom (same as a regular Town Car) & I estimate I'd save $6000/year on fuel (vehicles do 70K to 120K miles/year)
Anyone ran their hybrid Lexus (any year) to 300K/400K miles?
I usually finance vehicles for 4 years, sell/donate at 5 to 7 years old.
I'm not worried so much about drivers aids, but passenger comfort.
What options/packages are available to the model, for passenger comfort.

The ESh is very comfortable and as you stated has unbelievable room in the back seat. The trunk is not so big I have a 2013 and since I bought it five months ago am averaging 37.2 mpg's. This span has been about 25% highway and 75% city driving. My thoughts on your purchase would be if in three to four years you would have between 300,000-400,000 miles, I would buy a used one 25% off the price of a new with 20,000 miles. In the scheme of things three years from now you have 320,000 miles instead of 300,000 whats the difference. Consumer reports rated it the most reliable auto. The maintenace is very reasonable. Every 10,000 miles an oil change, every 30,000 brake fluid changed. At 100,000 spark plugs and antifreeze gets changed. These services can been done at a Toyota dealership for 30%-40% less.

I regularly transport 4 adults in my es300h (most Sundays). No complaints about rear comfort, and first-time passengers usually remark about the space. A transport-wheelchair fits in the trunk with no problem, and disabled/elderly people get in&out just fine.
When hybrid system was new, Toyota put a bunch of Prius vehicles in taxi-cab service for 300-400k per year, and bought them back in stages (1, 2, or 3 years) to see what wore out.... No problems with the drive train. Tuns out the hybrid transmission wears much better than traditional transmissions. (The hybrid system has no internal clutches to wear out.) And, an engine that runs only half the time, gets about half the wear.
