Trip Timer
Hello,
I just recently purchased 5 weeks ago a 2015 ES-350. Previously I owned a 1999 GS-300.
I find the trip information sadly lacking. Specifically the "trip timer" which tells you how long your trip is automatically resets each time you start the car back up. The USER should have control over when to reset this or a different trip timer. If I am going on even a medium length trip I want to know how long the WHOLE trip took, NOT the last segment of the trip.
Even my 1999 had this option. Am I missing something here? How can the newest Lexus not even include such a basic feature?
Hopefully I am just missing something but it seems this feature does not exist. Please correct me if I'm wrong. If as I suspect it is not there what is the best way to push for this feature being added in a subsequent FW update?
FYI: I purposely have not yet filled out the new car purchase survey Lexus keeps reminding me of because I wanted time to uncover things like this. Is this the best way to make this suggestion or would another method be better?
Thanks
Allen
