Stereo Component Amplifier place - upgrading sound

Hello,
I'd like to upgrade 8 speakers system to something better - as the sound in stock installation is awful
I have all the parts - Morel Elate speakers, JL Audio amp and sub, proper cabling and some experience
I started mounting cables and suddenly - I can not find Stereo Component Amplifier -which supposed to be in the rear part of the car (I found pictures on the net)
any idea where it is placed?
ES350 with navi and 8 speakers

Check under the driver's seat.

I found amplifier under the seat but harness is different from that available on the forum
anyone have audio wiring diagram for Gen6 es350 ?
