Enform Update and Pandora

That looks right. When you open the suite, it checks for updates, each time. If there is one, it uses your phone to DL the update via your phone's data network. The app on the phone is totally independent, as far as the Enform in the car is concerned. The phone app updates are for things like bug fixes and new phone compatibility issues.

I can now confirm that it works without interruption streaming it via Bluetooth. The only issue was after phone calls, where it would take about 30 seconds to start again. Pandora via the Enform app is so much more enjoyable (when it works properly), though. I hope they fix it, soon.

I checked the info-apps screen on the way home today and there was a check for updates option. I let it DL the update. It finished and installed and then went back to playing Pandora. I didn't experience any problems with play for the rest of the ride home so I'll keep an eye on it the next several days and update if anything is worse (or better).

FWIW, I went ahead and did the Enform update a few days ago - used Pandora off-and-on for a few hours during my commutes, and I have had no issues, while in the Apps tab or the Pandora screen

I've had no issues either. The only time I get insufficient connectivity is if the phone doesn't switch between wifi and BT correctly or in time. Usually when I am leaving the office if it happens - only rarely. The only time Pandora cuts out is when my cell phone signal is low or when I am in 4G only spots, but again only rarely.

I forgot to update this. Anyways, after I used Pandora via Bluetooth to check the issue, I went back to Enform again. Now, that's working fine again, too. All is well.

Pandora lock up
I did the Enform update a few days ago and have noticed a few issues with Pandora since. Had a screen freeze - it kept showing the same song and artist even after Pandora had moved on to new songs, I also heard two ads for the first time post update. I can also confirm I have seen the limited connectivity message only since the update. I am using an Android device, do we see any correlation with iOS via Android.

I'm using Android 4.1.2 on a Motorola Droid Razr, no issues with the latest Enform. Nor have I heard any ads yet.
I've come to like Pandora enough that I would probably become a paid subscriber if necessary to eliminate the ads...something I never even considered with SiriusXM.

Pandora on HQ sound settings sounds a lot better on the ES audio gear than XM. So much so that I let the Sirius/XM subscription lapse. We've had XM in another vehicle since 2005, and I do have to say quality has degraded, especially since XM merged with Sirius and started putting DJs on many more stations.

I have an HTC One, Android 4.3. I don't hear any ads while listening to Pandora thru Enform. After a week or so, I think the connectivity issues are actually much better now after the Enform update.
