2013 es350
Wanted to bring this post back as I am looking at Velgen VMB7s. I spoke to the folks over there and they suggested 20 x 9, +38 offset. Reading through so many of the threads on here, Michelins seem to be the constant tire, but I might shop around a bit more.
My questions are these:
1. Are 235/35 the highest sidewall I can do without rubbing? I travel quite a bit and was looking to gain a bit more sidewall.. something like a 235/40/20
2. Looking at most of the folks on here, the ones with springs look to have Camry or H&R Springs. A few went to an air ride suspension. What is the long term review of both?
3. My last two cars were a '08 and '14 IS350. Has anyone made a rear sway bar for the ES350? What about an interchangeable bar? I would like a little less body roll overall, even after I sway suspension components.
Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences and pictures.

I have a crafted line es and I love the look of the niche surge wheels. Want a 20" rim I just don't know if the silver or dark machined tint one will look better.

Looks Awesome. Nice cards. I have Lexus ES 350 2014 Black
I also ordered Niche rims 19x8.5 all rims and al tires - 235/35/19. I also ordered springs to lower the car by 1.5 inch ( Toyota Camry 07-2011 springs ). I have couple questions If someone can answer:
1. will 235/35/19 sit perfectly with 19x8.5 rims ( 35 offset ). Or did I have to go with 235/45/19 to protect rims from pat holes Orr rubbers? Or maybe I had to go with 18 but I could not find good 18 rims.
2. Are those Toyota springs better than Megan racing springs if I want to lower my car ? I’ve seen many people used Toyota springs
3. Why do you consider BC racing coil overs better than Toyota springs to lower car ? Sorry I am new to all of this.

Got the 19's put on and they look great. Unfortunately, my guy says no one makes springs for the car yet.
I've read about camry springs on the es, but since there's a weight difference between the two cars, i'd suspect your handling would be odd.

I used lowering springs from a 2007-2011 toyota camry. Problem is our car 300h is heavier so mine sags in the bag because of heavy battery pack. The ride is nice surprisingly alittle stiff but I like it. Handling is sharper. My tire size is 235 35 r20 and no road noise at all. All wheels are 20x8.5 with 35 offset. I like that setup because I can rotate them. Alittle to get used to because obviously the es stock is very comfortable. But like I said suprisingly smooth you'll notice some stiffness. But I think I'll go for the BC COILOVERS so I can set my height because it's actually made for the heavy car. I don't rub at all. But I love the look. Everyone breaks neck because it's the GS and IS that really have all the aftermarket stuff available. Hope this helps. Ask questions anytime I always answer.
