I'm 31, the ES makes a great swagger wagon without going to a minivan.

Default Got an ES 350 but not the hybrid!!!!!

Hi all,
I changed my mind, and purchased a 2013 ES 350 instead of the hybrid! My wife and I travel often and we decided we really need the 15 cu.ft. trunk space. Also, one or two extra trips to the gas station per month is fine. It was not the cost of the hybrid...I would have paid the extra. I am very sure though that my next car in a few years will be a hybrid, as long as they move the battery out of the trunk! Looks like plug-in hybrids, which include a gas engine, will be the norm in 5 years.

Initial comments: the car is incredibly quiet even at 75 mph. My ES350 came with park assist, the 8" navigation, premium audio but not the Mark Levinson, and the rear cross traffic alert and blind spot monitors. I had Sirius XM on my Acura for a couple of years, but now with Pandora on my cell phone and Bluetooth audio, I don't see the need for XM.
Handling is fine, though not as precise as my 2005 Acura RL but on the other hand, the ride is softer and that is good.
My wife and I test drove an ES350 with 18" wheels, but could not tolerate the harsher ride, even though the handling was more crisp. It had a beautiful agate color but we settled on the Starfire Pearl white color. Very nice color.
Overall, I am just delighted.
