"move in cabin air through the seats" I think perhaps there is a bit more to it than just air circulation as the seats get quite cool with the a/c on when it is hot outside. I suspect there is some interaction with the a/c system. Also, I have found with the a/c on and the temperature is not all that warm outdoors, the seats do not cool as much and the air flow seems to be reduced.

There are quite a few things we like on our car.
We stumbled upon a feature on a long road trip we did not know we had. Cruise control Radar. Sales person made no mention of it...

Elliot- Good point since I haven't been able to try the ventilated seats on a really hot day. It doesn't get hot here in SF as it does in FL. I'll have to wait until the summer to confirm, but it doesn't make sense to me that there are just fans under the seat to move air around.

I haven't checked to see if a a physical duct plugs in under the seats or not, but you can definitely hear the a ventilation fan going from under the seats which wouldn't be necessary if it was actually using ducts that go to the rear seats in the middle.

I definitely hear the fan too, but don't feel them in the front seats, where they're suppose to chill and not the rear seats.

Moving the air in the seats and out the perforations will contribute to enough heat transfer from the seating surface into the cabin.

Some owners have mentioned if you direct the AC to the floor outlets only, the ventilated seats will circulate more of this cold air than if some of the airflow is coming from the dash vents. I never noticed a difference but worth a try.

My previous car was a two seat sports car, with that in mind, what do I like?
1) Trunk - my golf clubs don't have to ride in the passenger seat when I go to play, and I can leave them in the trunk instead of sitting in the garage
2) Rear Seat - I took my wife, son and his wife to dinner right after I got it.... once in a while having company in the car is a good thing
3) Quiet - I used to like to listen to the rear engine in the two seater, but after a while or on longer drives it was annoying.
4) Radio - I can actually hear it
5) Entry and Exit - getting in and out is not an exercise in agility
6) Styling - what's not to like
In the 90's I had a 300ES, best car I ever had, even better than the '07 MB Bluetec I had. Glad to be back in the new one.....

The more I drive, the more I like!
I really appreciate the tight turning radius the car has and also really like that the driver's seat rolls back when I get out of the car and moves forward when I get back in.
