No Art, I bought the black ones from Ebay right after I got the car back in early 2013. A friend also has a Satin Cashmere 2012 model and installed the car color mud guards. After seeing his I liked the contrasting black more so I didn't paint them. They're still on there and still look good. I armorall them each time I wash the car so that they have a satin shine. I did install the rears and they installed easily and look perfect.

Did you need to drill through metal or just plastic?

did you use any sealant for the screws?

I drilled through the plastic bumper/rear panel to mount the mud guards. I used stainless screws and washers to eliminate rust. The installation was simple and it took me about 15 minutes for both sides. I did not have to remove the wheels.

I was planning to take some photos but today in PA is teeming rain. Probably across the river too.
I'll do it when the weather clears.

Just the screws and a drill. Mine have been on for almost 4 years.

Alright sounds easy so I put the guard in place with the bottom nut and drill the provided screws through the guards and done? Sounds easy

It really is a simple install. Try to use stainless screws and a stainless washer = no rust...I used a 1/8" drill. After securing the top and bottom screws I painted the screw heads with some flat black paint and they're invisible. Let us know how you make out.

Good Luck with the project!
