Lexus does not offer the splash guard. Apparently they do not believe, as well as others on this forum, that they go well with this car. However, the ones I installed behind front wheels help tremendously to keep road grime and rock damage from paint on underside of door. And, in my opinion, they look Okay. Now for the chrome strip: Go to Amazon.com and search "Chrome body side moldings Lexus ES350." They were $135. I too think this molding helps the looks of the car as it breaks up some of the tall, plain look of the sheet metal of the doors.

I read through this thread but it seems so far no one has successfully installed the rear mud guard yet.

I also installed my fronts only. not sure I will install the rears.

fit was about perfect. finish is also good.

I'd recommend them.

I have them but don't want to drill thru the paint. I can't see how they can be attached without doing that. I thought of clips onto the fender shield but haven't found the right hardware yet.
So for now, no rear guards. I just wish that Lexus would have provided mounting holes like most other manufacturers.

Bill - I agree. I'd install the rear flaps if they were pre-drilled. The fronts do look good.

I can't for the life of me figure out why Lexus cannot offer color keyed splash guards as an option extra on their sedans? Acura, Infiniti, and Audi all offer color keyed splash guards as optional accessories in the $150-200 range. My 2 year old Lexus looks terrible from rock chips/scratches on the sides of the car. I shouldn't have to buy after market splash guards for a $43k plus automobile.

Lexus should figure out that most of us want to save and protect our vehicles so they look good as long as possible. This would go along way to doing that. If they can offer color keyed door edge guards there is no reason they can't do the same damn thing for splash guards.

Perhaps, but I don't think so. Plus, color keyed makes them also invisible unless your starring right at them, but at the same time is helping protect the sides of the car from scratches/chips. I had them on my 2008 TL and they have done wanders in helping to protect the side of the car.

Even if Lexus just offered them as an option accessory you could buy, you could special order them and not cost a huge amount of money to make.

There are some members that ordered the black aftermarket guards and had them body color painted. The photos on this thread look very nice. I would suggest that you go that route as there are no alternatives at this point. I myself like the black as my car is a light color and I like the contrast.

Hi guys. Last weekend I have installed front unpainted splash guards purchased on e-bay. This is how it looks with Nebula Gray. Seems to me the guard blends well with fender. I planning to install the rear ones too but when the weather gets warmer here - two holes in each wheel arch need to be drilled for screws.

The mudguards look nice Alpine. Post a photo when you get the rears installed. I'm curious as to how they'll look. I have the fronts on, but am reluctant to drill the fender for the rears.

Mine came today and the weather was above freezing. Fronts fit with existing screws, as said the rears need 2 holes drilled, I too will wait till warmer weather to install them.
