One thing I would suggest for anyone interested in coilovers is going with a custom spring/damper rate. The BC Racing coilovers come with spring rates of 3K rear and 6K front unless you order them custom. I went with 8K rear and 10K front. Without the stiffer spring rate for sure you would scrape. Now that I have them on, I wish I would have gone with something a little softer. I think 6K rear and 8K front would be perfect. If you go with the stock 3K/6K spring rates, you won't be able to drop the car as much as I did. It will bottom out.

Last Friday I took the car to the local dealership to get an alignment. The tech told me he didn't have to do much. He said the camber was almost dead on. Waste of 100 bucks.
Nice😅, im glad it worked out. That ride hight is perfect. Any lower and you might have problems with the passenger side axle binding.I have 10k and 8k's on my 5th gen but im looking to go bagged soon (nyc roads suck)

Depends on many factors.....for reference my niche apex's ran me about $1600 delivered/mounted/balanced. And I chose middle of the pack tires.

Bump

any one else running regular lowering springs not coilovers? Factory struts are HUGE.. seeing if anybody is rubbing with 245/35/20's. I've only got two 245/35/20. Haven't mounted them yet, was hoping to get some feedback. Probably get two 235/35/20's and experiment for myself. Start with the wider in the rear and move them up front if they rub.

Great choice! Would need to be dropped for full potential.

I just dropped mine used Megan Racing springs. Mine is a 2016 ES300H was suppose to be 1.3f 1.25r but it's sagging in rear I guess cause of battery pack in rear. Alittle stiff but smooth gonna install 20x9 all around

Nice set up! How did you get all the TPMS working? Did you go to the dealer to have all your TPMS calibrated?

im getting my wheels next week ordering them down to a few optiosn been looking at some Vossen HF and CV styles i like the hybrid forged vfs and HF models vossen so might be one of those two
got a local shop that can get me into a set of four for 1800 if i go with the CV10 and the HF models i like that HF2 and HF3 for around 2200-2300 for the wheels

also a bit cheaper i found some nice lookign niche wheels i like
im going with 20s and wondering if eveyrone who has done 20s is still liking the option of the 245 35 20 inch tires
i have looked and none of the customer wheel websites are showing that i should get 245 35 20
most of them suggest 225 35 20 or 225 45 20 so im just checking to make sure people are happy with the 245 35 20 inch tires

i just put my new SHoes and wheels on last week got the Niche Vosso wheels in Gunmetal Metalic color in a 19 went with a 19x8.5 and a 235-40-19 Michelne MXM4 OEM tire same size as the 2019 ES F sport wheels and tires for my 2016 ES300h

I don't plan on lowering it because im probably only keeping it another year before selling or trading a year at most
