Default Sexiest Hybrid under $50K

I never considered buying a hybrid until the ES 300H came along. The sleek design and buttery smooth ride sold me. Very happy with this vehicle so far.

I agree 100%
I have to add ( for me ) the very low premium of $2,750. over the ES350.
If the premium was $4,000. or more I would have bought the ES350 for sure!

Actually in terms of styling, I find the es350 to be very similar to the Hyundai sonata but I don't like the interior styling.

But instead of being upset that the 2 look so similar 45g car vs 25g car, I'm glad I don't have a GS which costs 60g and looks like the ES. Although the 12" screen would have been very nice !

Nice, Satin Cashmere. I thought long and hard on this color and would have ordered it if it was a pearl. It was one of the first hybrid colors I saw when they first started showing up at the dealership. My special order should be here at the end of the month.

She's a beauty! I get mine at the end of the week. Looks like the backdrop is in Long Beach.

Default Answer to questions:

The location of the picture is in Coronado, California.

I bought the vehicle from Lexus of Escondido, the most extraordinary Lexus Dealership in California. Check out their website to see how big this deaership is (bottom of page click "The Lexus Center." I originally started with an autobroker and he stated no one in San Diego County could be his price. Interesting statement, so I decided to send requests to dealerships via Edmund's and Lexus of Escondido beat his price by $1K.

I was looking at the GS in June, but didn't like the hump in the back seat and heard a new ES was coming out in the Fall. I liked the smoother design of the ES and waited for its release.

I owned a new 1996 300ZX when I was a bachelor (never a Nissan again, it spent a lot of time in repair garages as I had recurrent problem with its fuel injectors). When I got married we owned a Highlander and Camry. Only one problem with the Highlander (owned 10 years) and zero problems with the Camry (owned 14 years). It was time for an upgrade. Looked at the Mercedes Benz E350 and BMW 5 series, but couldn't get over their reliability issues. Also, design has not been updated significantly in past five years. When the BMW 5 series came out in the mid 2000s it was a head turner.

Never considered a hybrid due to their pedestrian design, sorry Prius lovers. I commend Hyundai for their recent design advancements and improvement in reliability. At the end of the day its still a Hyundai (apologies Hyundai lovers). I love the Lexus nameplate and reliabiliy.
