Default 2013 300H Current Wait/Delivery Estimates?

I love my new 300H, and have always thought this would be a hot car.

I am just curious as to what the current wait time is for customers. It appears Lexus has removed their inventory list from their dealership websites. Not sure why.

Anybody know if you can pick up a ES 300 hybrid off the lot, or are they selling as soon as they come in?

Don't tell my wife, but she has some competition now. Boy do I love this car!!!

Here in PA, there are sold before they get to dealer lots.

Agreed, here in the ATL/GA area demand is outstripping supply. Maybe it will get better near the end of year?? Also, the same just about true for the 350. May have to pre-order.

Lexus did a (pardon my french) **** poor job with any material pertaining to the car and actual cars allotted. They really should have known that this was going to be a hot seller. Our dealer get's one about every 3 weeks and when they come in they are already sold. And we can't test drive the darn things because of it. It's really turning folks off. Heck there's even a nationwide shortage of ES13 brochures

As for the ES350, we have a good number of those but a lot are in the UL ultra luxury package and no one wants to spend near 50K on an ES hah

It is too bad they don't keep one on the lot for a demo.

Right now there is not a lot that competes with the new es hybrid. A luxury sedan as big as the ES, with this much power and 40 mpg. Lexus will have to increase production if gas prices don't drop.

Yeh, I just received my brochure last week and I've already ordered a ES00h several weeks ago. BTW, the car has an UL package with all options...expected delivery is around Thanksgiving or the first half of December.

Lexus may be doing this purposefully, keeping inventory low, to keep the excitement and buzz going. ....I just hope it doesn't back fire on them, but then again people always want what's hard to get....

My guess is that supply will catch up with demand before too long. We know Lexus has the capacity from handling the volume of the previous gen ES which was a BIG success right out of the box. The Hybrid might take a little longer since it's a new model to the lineup with a lot of interest.

I don't think that's the case in my area.
In a 25 mile radius from me,there over 100 ES350's available and 43 300h's on autotrader.com.

I find 43 300h's to be a lot.No $50K+ loaded with everything ones,though.Those may be special order.

Within 25 miles of me there are 14 300h's and within 50 miles there are 27. A couple were $49k + and most were below that.

its always like this for a brand new model, even for the 06 IS when it first came out. The ES is even more appealing to the average consumer than a sports sedan. FRS/BRZ are selling out within hours etc.

I checked the link on Auto Trader, and as you said, there were a bunch of ES hybrids for sale. One dealership had 7 ES hybrids in stock. Since this seemed a little odd considering the scarcity around the country, I called them. As suspected, they only had one available in the show room. I think some dealerships take their time removing sold cars off the list. I would say they do it intentionally but I will give them the benefit of the doubt.
