Default My First Lexus

I am buying a 2013 300h this week. I put a deposit on it after I saw its debut at the New York auto show. Silver with the grey leather, with navigation (same as the one in the show). The ship arrives in port tomorrow.

I test drove a 300h at a Lexus ES party last week. I am sure I have a biased opinion, but wow it was nice. Much more power then I expected from a hybrid, and if it can get 40 miles to the gallon...

It will be interesting to see how popular this model becomes. I just don't see where there is any competition if you are looking for a full size luxury sedan that gets 40 miles to the gallon. Mabye there is something out there, but I could not find it.

I read a review that said people looking for luxury cars do not care about the gas milege. Maybe I am the only one. But if I am not, this model is going to be hot!!!

I can't wait to get mine in my driveway.

Default Extended warranty?

Any opinions on purchasing the extended warranty? If so, what would be a good deal?

Because of all the electronics, i got the 7 year/100000mile zero deductible plan for my 300h. List was 3700thru Lexus. I paid 2400, not really sure if that was a fair price or not.

Check with these guys if you paid too much. That $3700 list price seems high.

If so,cancel it and buy a discounted Lexus Platinum warranty.

I bought a Lexus and Toyota extended warranty in the past from this guy but there are two other guys at dealers that sell discounted Lexus/Toyota Platinum warranties.

Toyota of Greenfield

This guy is said to be a bit cheaper.
Jerry Johnson at Midwest Toyota. You can contact him at 800-530-5789, cell 620-664-8844 or email jerryj@midwestsuperstore.com.

You'll have to do a search to find the third guy.His name I believe is Toby.
Discounted prices and no sales tax if out of state.
