Default Picked up 2013 ES350

Just received my custom ordered ES350. I wanted all safety features and the collision avoidance radar controlled cruise control apparently is only available on a custom order. After a brief drive on the highway I am absolutely convinced that this is a great feature. I paid list minus $250 (returning customer), however they added $600 for prep and documentation. the car is matador Red Mica with Parchment interior. The black glass top looks sharp.

Anyway, great car with all the options that I wanted.

I ordered it on August 25th. they told me that it will be in the October build but could not say weather it would be in the beginning or end of the month. It probably was built in the first half of the month. After it is boult they should have the VIN number, even when it is still in Japan.

Worth waiting for all these great options.

Costco have a pre-arrange pricing with participating dealership. Just ask your dealer if they offer costco program and they will show you the price they offer. They usually sell it at invoice price or sometimes below invoice. With this you're haggle free, you'll be saving 2-3000 depending on the dealership. With my purchase, I saved $3353. Plus you are also eligible for any manufacturers rebate if there is any for 2013 or holiday promotion.

Before you ask them about the program, check first to see if they have any rebates on the car.

Oh, if have some to trade in something, sell it first because they will try to get their money back from trade in. Using these kind of program the dealership doesn't make any profit at all so they will get it somewhere else.

ES300H Ultra Luxury
Nebula Gray Exterior
Parchment Interior w Bamboo
Navigation
Mark Levinson Audio
Blind Spot Monitor w Rear Cross Traffic Alert
HID Headlamps
Power Trunk Closer
Intuitive Parking Assist
Rain Sensing Wipers with Deicer
Leather Trimmed Shift **** and Heated Wood & Leather Trimmed Steering Wheel

First having parchment means always keeping cleaner and rag on hand.

Mods
Viper Smart Start with Proximity Lock module.
Prestige Society DVD Module
E&G Black Ice Grille
Clear Plastic heel guard on drive side. ( took thin sheet of plastic laid in on the floor mat. Took a pro hair drier heated plastic to mold to the bends). It wont last long but it does saves the carpet and it is cheap to make.

After 2000 miles I am getting 38 MPG normal driving (which includes regenerative driving and cruise control)
Max 45MPG AVG from full to empty. (totally impractical to drive as needed to maintain that kind of MPG)
Complaint you should be able to lock in EV mode to at least 35 MPH. (city driving)

Thanks Lexus the first full Hybrid that does not look like a people mover.
I see this as a sign of things to come

Not sure I like the 18's but that is the way they are optioned at the dealers I checked with.
Why didn't you like the 18" I just order my es350.

Thumbs up 1st Lexus!

Hello all!

Figured it was time to introduce myself...or, at least my new ES.
Picked up just a month ago, from Ft. Wayne Lexus.......was delivered straight into the show-room just a couple days before, with only 3 miles on it.

ES350 with Luxury Package
Starfire Pearl with Light Gray/Black two-tone, perforated leather
Heated/Cooled seats
LDA w/ Backup camera
HD/Satellite stereo
17-in split 10-spoke alloy wheels w/ Liquid Graphite Finish
Rain Sensing Intermittent Wiper w/ Windshield De-Icer
Blind Spot Monitor w/ Rear Cross Traffic Alert
Intuitive Parking Assist
Power rear sunshade
High-Intensity Discharge (HID) headlamps
Wood and leather-trimmed shift **** and heated steering wheel
Alloy Wheel Locks
Cargo Net Envelope & Carpet Trunk Mat
All-weather floor mats
Rear bumper applique

Traded-in my 2009 Camry SE and was very pleasantly surprised by the trade-in offer --- had only one payment left to payoff the Camry (6 months early!), and while I now have another few years of car payments, I got a deal that made it well worthwhile!

Will share pics soon, and also have a couple of questions to you other 2013 owners.

Looking forward to being a part of CL! (Guess I now have to say goodbye to those at ToyotaNation, huh?!)
