Rear Door Rubber Trim - Back to Black/Restore?
Hello,
I really did try searching for this on a previous post, but I don't know the actual name of the part I'm talking about. I have a 2016 ES, its in really great shape, just under 65k. I'm the 3rd owner. My question is on our vehicles. Theres a black rubber part that is a D shape or almond shape. Its some sort of rubber seal. Its a little faded. I tried using Mothers Back to Black, which dressed it up a bit, but didn't really restore it. Long shot here, does anyone have any tips or products they've used with good results to restore faded rubber trim? |
The back to black is most likely your best product to restore color. To keep gaskets and seals proteced and from drying out I use this product about every six months. Easy application just roll it on. Especially hit the moonroof gasket which gets blasted by the sun.
