Condensation on windshield

I get 2 spots of condensation on the windshield that I can't get rid of without running windshield wipers. It happens when it's hot out and I'm running the a/c. Any idea? I appreciate the help .I do run the front defrost and that doesn't help either.

On the outside? All I can think of is the glass is not clean (even if it looks clean) so water vapour tends to stick to that area.

Cold AC blows on windshield cooling it down, through the defroster vents. It will still blow some air on the windshield even when you’re not on defrost. The hot humid air outside hits the cold spot and moisture condenses out of the air. That’s just the way it is. Nothing wrong. Nothing to fix.

Interesting problem never had a car that did this.

I'll try cleaning the windshield.
I'm short and it's hard to see with the condensation. Thanks for the suggestion.

Raise the temperature a couple of degrees and/or use the windshield washer, not just the wiper.

Thank You!

you could probably just change the a/c so that it's not blowing up on the windshield.. have it blow straight out the dash air vents of even down on the floor... I've noticed a little condensation on my drivers side side window on occassion when I've had the air set a little too cold and when I have the side air vents aimed more toward the windows... Don't think you have any thing to worry about, just redirect the direction you're A/C is blowing or raise the temp a degree or two to see if that helps.

poppa is right, the HVAC system has a button for the "Mode". It is the one with a rather fussy icon
showing miniature arrows and vents... When the windshield fogs up tap the Mode button and watch
for a drop down menu to appear on screen. You will want to see the Windshield Shaped Defroster
icon plus the downward sloping floor air vent arrow on. Now you will get less upper air and still get
a warm cabin.

I have the same issue, switch the position from defrost to something else like your feet, even when I turn it off if it's left in the defrost position it seems like it still trickles threw a bit.

I hve the same issue here in Panama constantly. Have tried every position on the vents and defrost. Just living with it, as nothing seems to make a difference. Sorry can't be more help.
