So, I realize that my new to me 2017 ES350 starts remotely. Which is good, but got me to thinking. If this is working because the subscription of the previous owner has not yet expired, would I be jeopardizing that if I registered the car with Lexus to get the Enform app running? Is there a way to figure out WHY the remote start is working? Is it possible that it's got a aftermarket remote start installed, and not the Enform Remote app? One thing I noticed when attempting to use the remote start, is that the sequence of button presses was slightly different than what has been described as lock, lock, hold lock down for three seconds. My car is more like lock,lock, hold lock down for like eight or ten seconds. At least that's when all the lights start flashing. I actually thought I didn't have remote start when I purchased the car, because I didn't do the sequence correctly! In any event, I don't want to lose remote start, at least for as long as the subscription is active, but I kind of want to set up the Enform app on my phone.
