Default Passenger pillar water leak (found problem, just need help fixing)

Yes I’ve used the search feature and see plenty of others with similar issue, and this has been a nightmare!

1. Windshield was checked for seal leaks (none found)

2. I removed pillar and saw zero signs of leakage from hose running down pillar

3. All debris removed from sun roof hose with air, water, and cord. Zero leaks including testing with water and funnel. No clogging, Almost instant drainage.

4. Actual sun roof seal has zero damage and appears to close perfectly

5. After being stumped, I noticed to the right of the sunroof drain, an opening that is simply how the car is made and the sunroof is installed. It is directly to the right and left of the sun roof assembly.

Using a flashlight I did see a small amount of water already in there, so I put a funnel onto it and dropped maybe only 1/3 of a cup of water and it instantly came through onto the pillar.

So the question is, is there anyway to seal this or redirect the water somehow onto the tray where it drains into the hoses and not the cabin?
Has anyone else fixed this?

Thanks for any and all help. I’ve searched these forums and others but didn’t see anything that applied to my exact case.
