Lexus v.s. Infiniti
There has been a lot of chatter about how the ES350 compares to Acuras but I don't believe that I have ever read a comparison with Infinitis. Or are they pretty well out of the car business so it doesn't matter?

Infinity discontinued their QX30 due to poor sales and the company itself is in extremely poor financial condition. This, according to Car and Driver, is caused by Nissan failing to update and change their line of vehicles. The only money maker is the Altima, and this is because they sell so many to car rental companies albeit at a very low profit margin. As far as your question regarding a comparison with our Lexus cars, I looked at a 2019 Infiniti sedan for the boss and was very impressed with the car. I also looked at a crossover and the one drawback was it came with run flats, no spare, and it was rear wheel drive. RWD is not an option here in Pennsylvania and, I would think, Massachusetts either. I could have paid for AWD if necessary.
I would put the Infiniti on par with the Lexus as far as quality, comfort, and fit and finish. RWD not withstanding...

I know very little about Infinity but I'm scared to touch any from Nissan since Renault became their parent company.
I'm pretty much a Honda and Toyota guy. I don't have time to be waiting at the dealer or fixing my car all the time.

Back in college when my friend was driving a 200SX SE-R that I was absurdly jealous of, and the $40,000 (in 1990's dollars!) 300ZX turbo was running around, Nissan was fantastic.
Not so much anymore. I wouldn't touch a new Nissan product. The other Japan-imports, and for that matter the Koreans, are making better, nicer, and more reliable cars. I'd get a BMW before I got an Infiniti, and considering the electrical hell that modern BMWs can be, that's saying something.
