PSI in winter tires?
Im wondering what PSI should the tires be on a 2013 ES350. I know it says 33 on the door. Im in canada and winter is here and when i start the car the psi is around 32-33 but after driving on the highway it goes up to 35-36. I know this is due to the tires and air warming up. Is it bad for the tires or ride to have them at 35-36? I have new continental winter contact si tires and dont want them to wear out uneven. Im debating do i have them 33 when warm or 33 when cold?
Thanks in advance

Door placard PSI are to be measured when the tires are cold, ie. not been driven yet.
Ambient outside temperature is obviously going to vary greatly, but check them before driving.
As it is still relatively early into winter (USA, perhaps not Quebec!) your readings of plus 3 degrees
from cold after driving sound entirely normal.

Will not wear tires nor considered over inflated at 36 psi. Remember for every 10 degrees drop in temperature your tires will lose one pound of pressure. I keep ours cold at 35 and will go as high as 38 on highway driving.

Never had an issue with this in many many years of Canadian driving.
