Remove Front Lic Plate & Holder
Contemplating if I should remove the front Lic plate and holder. The 2016 ES looks so much better, IMO, without the front license plate. But I am not much of a DIY guy so wondering if its easy to remove and if I do, will there be a hole there in the grill? Like I am not able to figure out how they are placed there to begin with as I don't see any holes to mount them in pictures of the front grill without the plates.

There is a bracket that fits between the grill which holds the plate. Just remove the bolts and you will see how it is installed. Pretty straight forward. Also it will not leave a hole once removed as the grill will look like one continuous piece.
If you don't like it, you can always put it back to the way it was. I would agree that it does look cleaner without a plate.

Unfortunately some states require front LIC Plates. If you bought new and the state you are in does not require it, you can tell them not to mount the front plate holder. If used, then it is what it is. Still you remove it and if there are holes, plug them with stainless plugs.
