16 ES350 driver front noise over bumps/speed bumps

A few years ago I was driving at night and didn't see something that was in the road. I hit it and it came up into the wheel well and cause a clip to come loose which caused the wheel well cover to hang down and hit other stuff when the wheel came closer. The sound it made was similar to that.

On my 2014, a similar sound ended up being some sort of cable for the sunroof. I never would have dreamed that it would have been the issue, thought for sure it was something with the suspension. It was only over larger speed bumps I could hear it. It didn't sound like it was coming from above either. I guess it was a common issue, not sure when the factory figured it out. Dealer fixed it, would have cost a fortune out of pocket.

I have similar noise on the driver side only when it’s below 20 degrees outside (I live in Chicago). Bringing it in today, of course they probably will not find anything since it’s not as cold today.

Any update on this? Have a 16 es350 with 55k and could swear I hear a clunk going over potholes or when approaching or backing out of my steep driveway with wheels turned. Wondering if it's a common component like sway bar end links or a control arm bushing. Thanks
