# of suitcases in 2016-2017

I’m wondering if the trunk is sufficient for a family of 4 vacation. We pack lightly - did 2 weeks in Europe with 4 slightly undersized carryon bags but it isn’t always possible to be so minimalist. Can the trunk handle the 4 bags plus some other stuff like a bag of beach blankets? We’re spoiled with our minivan that allows us to bring anything we want plus a breadbox.

The hybrid trunk is small because of the hybrid battery, only 12.1 cu ft. this is smaller than a corolla trunk. The hybrid has spacious cabin but not the trunk. Anyway you have to check it yourself to see if it is enough for your needs. It will probably accommodate 4 small carryon bags placed sideways.
