Default Help! Windshield cracks?

I'm starting to notice a bunch of these little nicks in my windshield and they dont seem to come off with my nail or with regular cleaning. Anyone else experience these?

Those look like rock chips to me. I’d say get used to it. Didn’t take long for my ‘17 to get a few. And my previous ‘10 got them too. I think its been said the glass is a tad soft in these cars. I had to change the windshield twice when I had the ‘10 due to rock hits. But that was not just a chip.

Ugh if that is the case that is so disappointing. Especially when you purposely try to not drive behind trucks and stuff and take good care of your car. Nothing I can do about this huh?

Normal wear and tear unfortunately.

There are clear-bra like products you could apply to the windshield to protect against this if you wanted to.

Not used to this
I upgraded from a 2000 Camry and that windshield was in pristine shape lol. I guess they just made things better back then

I think you just like your ES a little more and are a little more attuned to this kind of stuff. Every car I have ever had has gotten these sorts of windshield pits, and I had a 98 LS400, an 03 ES300, an 04 LS430, built back in the "glory days". All had this sort of pitting in the windshields.

Hurl a stone at ANY piece of glass at 70-80MPH and it will leave a mark.
