How to know if 300H has Mark Levinson
 

I'm in the market for a 2015 300H with the Mark Levinson sound system. I know in the older models there was a logo below the hazard lights.

Is there a physical indicator/logo that confirms the car has the system?

On the 2015 ES, the logo is still there below the hazard button.

Also, it can be noted that virtually all ES with the Ultra Luxury package have the ML audio system, and very few of the ES without the Ultra Luxury package have the ML audio system.

Interesting... I'm shopping for a 2013-15 Lexus ES 300H with the ultra luxury package. None of the options I have found have the ML logo, but claim to have it in the system (see the link for an example)

There is no mention of the ML in that link. Did you call them and they told you it had the option? :confused:

I did. I think they were as confused as I was. Many dealers have premium sound confused with the ML system. How rare is it to find?

I also see no mention of the Ultra Luxury package in the link. Instead, it says that the car has the Premium package, which is the package that is just one step above the base ES.

From the pictures that are shown in the link, I don't see the rear door sunshades or the front passenger seat memory buttons, which are a part of the Ultra Luxury package. If the car does not have the Ultra Luxury package, it is extremely unlikely (probably impossible) that it would have the ML audio system.

Pretty rare. When I bought mine back in 2013, I think the dealer had about 3 - 4 UL's with ML, including the one I bought. This is a large Chicago area dealer that had close to 70 ES's shown in inventory. If you can find one, it's worth it!

Besides the things already discussed in this thread, I would not have much confidence in the accuracy of the other information in the Carvana link. For example, it says that the car has the Premium package, and it says that it has a leather interior. That can't be. The Premium package for the ES has a NuLuxe interior, not leather.

After scanning around the interior view feature in the link, the car appears to be a premium package ES300h with a NuLuxe interior, no navigation, and no ML audio.

I love the ML system but i'm also a motorcyclist for years, so I guess i'm not the best judge on stereo quality.

There's a small door in the centre of the console that says Mark Levinson. you can flip this door up to get access to the micro SD that holds the map data.
