I’m hoping this may help some people. I picked up a 2015 CPO last week and could not get my car to get my texts. I tried everything I read on this board with no luck. BTW I have an iPhone 8 Plus and spent some time on the phone with Apple yesterday with no luck. My wife has the same exact phone and hers worked without a problem. After comparing settings the only difference is she gets notification banners on her phone and I didn’t. So on an iPhone besides “Show Notifications “ under Bluetooth you have to have everything turned on under Settings >Notifications >Messages. Again I’m not sure this will help but thought I would post just in case.
