Dear guys


I was wondering which combination would suit better.

I have to say I am not a big fan of black interior. It is very dark and reminds you of an enclosed space where there is no freedom.

I prefer saddle tan color

Is it preferable to have exterior titanium?

Is it prefertable to have exterior navy blue?

I think the "saddle tan" interior pairs well with blue or grey or black exterior. It might look a little weird with titanium/Atomic silver.

I too don't like the black interior. it is too dark. But I like very much the atomic silver exterior. you may also consider the grey interior with the atomic silver.

but dont grey interior get dirty easily?

I had a 2013 white ES300h with white exterior and parchment interior. Two months ago, I bought a 2017 ES300h with silver lining and parchment with the matte bamboo trim. Love the color combo with the brown dash. Personal taste would never own a black interior. Wife has a 2015 RX 450h with white and parchment. Our interiors have never been dirty. I clean them with a soft bristle brush and Zaino leather cleaner every two months. It takes less than five minutes.

where do i buy these zaino leather cleaner?

Ok, I'll be the outlier in the thread. :) I love my black interior. I have never seen any jean stains, like my wife's light grey leather interior. All I've ever done to keep mine clean is wipe it down with a microfiber towel when washing the exterior. Still looks new after 4 1/2 years.

I might get used to the black color - I suppose I have a panaraomic sunroof in the sports luxury but black is just a dull color.


What color is your exterio Mike?


I like the titanium color or as you call it atomic silver as it is shiny. Do you think if I got atomic silver and saddle tan as interior as being weird??

I've got a black interior with piano black accents instead of wood. It looks classy on a sunny day but it can get dull. I parked next to a new ES with the brown dash and tan leather seats and the newer car looked stunning. Atomic Silver with the tan interior looks great, as long as you don't mind taking good care of the paint and regularly keeping the interior clean. It also helps if you don't have small kids ;)

Only through Zaino Bros. web site. Leather cleaner works great. leather in a bottle is their conditioner that makes the leather smell new. Z2 is IMO as good as it comes. Last six months to a year although I apply it every three months. Easy on and easy off.

Light color interiors require extra care, but I like lighter colors. I have parchment interior. the leather is not hard to keep clean, but the parts that require extra care are the parts covered by fabric material like the headliner and sun visor. I have weather tech on the floors so the carpet is protected. If you have kids then it could be a problem keeping the interior clean. on the headliner and sun visor I use store brand carpet cleaner spray and it works well.

My first choice two months ago was atomic silver with the saddle interior with bamboo. Loved the combo. When I was looking there was none within a 500 miles radius and the 2018's were on their way. The atomic silver is so unique. Hard to describe to someone the color that has not seen it. My silver lining, I think would look better with light gray but really wanted the matte bamboo accent.
