Never leased before--this deal looks great. Am I missing something?

I suspect that there is some sort of psychological effect that leads people, with a lease, to conclude that an additional $25 or $35 per month is no big deal even though, when accumulated through the 36 months of the lease, that amount that is "no big deal" per month can accumulate to well over $1000 during the full course of the lease. .

I'm already committed. Even with their padding of the MF I'm still okay with it. And this dealer sucks. Their customer service sucks so badly and I wish I didn't have to buy anything from them. They are kind of dicks and don't return calls or emails. I don't think they WANT to sell me this car for this price and were probably hoping would just walk away.
I've had deals written up with 7 Lexus Dealers now and this is by far the best, AND the most convenient.
The convenience factor alone is worth the extra $20/ month on the payment for their increased MF.
Trust me....most dealers aren't wanting to make cheap af deals on these last ULs; if I wanted a regular ES they told me they would have no problem giving me a higher percentage off MSRP. But I want the semi-aniline leather and nothing else!

Heading down tomorrow to pick her up....and then drop her off at the detail shop for Paint Sealant, Clear-Bra, and new window tint.
Contract states the prices here:
ES 350: $41,180 (MSRP of $50,162, as I did a lease so I could get the $4k Lexus Cash)
Doc Fee: $489
AZ Drive-Off Temp Permit Fee: $90
Lease Acq Fee: $795
I am 100% satisfied with this deal. I originally wanted a White/Black UL but I think the Nebula Grey will be just fine.

But this is a lease, why put money into paint sealant and clear bra? It's not your car.
I just had my hood sprayed on my '10 IS-F for $550. The clear bra was going to cost me $1600
I was going to have a clear bra done because the car has become a cult car and I was looking to protect the value. I was doing some touch up before the bra was to go on and I managed to get a bit of clear coat burn through.
I now discovered it is cheaper to respray than put on the bra.

I've been using getting the paint protection film done on the car as my last item in negotiating to buy the car. When I bought my 2017 ES, in order to close the deal, the dealer sold me a very complete paint protection film package (including the full hood, full front bumper, full front fenders, mirrors, door handle cups, and door edges) for about 1/3 of their regular price, and that price was also about 1/3 of what it would have cost me to get the same amount of coverage from the independent trim shops in the area. That shows something about just how high the markup is on paint protection film and other add-on items. I'm sure that, even at 1/3 of the regular price, the dealer still made a profit on the job.

And you never know what might happen, may buy it out and keep it. I've actually also never turned in a leased car, I've always traded them in, so condition is important.

And I take car of my cars way too crazily and I don't care if I am leasing it or whatever....I hate dirty and effed up looking cars..
And it's difficult to ever get a 100% match on a repaint of any car surface--I have learned this the hard way.
I paid $700 to have a partial clearbra put on my leased GS350, and $1,400 for a full clearbra on my leased LS460. I would do it again in an instant and will. I HATE rock chips, and these cars chip badly. So yeah I could repaint the hood and bumper, but you can't repaint the lights. And I have to deal with non-original paint and worry about matching, etc. I'm much happier with my car having the protection on there against chips.
And you never know what might happen, may buy it out and keep it. I've actually also never turned in a leased car, I've always traded them in, so condition is important.

You might want to also check to see if your dealer or a nearby dealer is part of the COSTCO Auto Purchase Program. I bought my two Lexus ES 30h's through the program and got great deals.

In most cases, Costco and other pricing service deals can easily be beat by proper negotiating on your own. Pricing services can be used as a starting point or comparison but usually are not the best deal available.
