Default VIN Cover at Floor

Our 2015 ES 350 with 12,000 miles has a continual problem with the plastic VIN cover plate on the floor in front of the front passenger seat. It comes off very easily when barely touched. The dealership admits that they cannot fix it properly. Do others have the same problem and know of a permanent fix? Thank you very much! Ned

You can also easily find The VIN # on the left lower corner of the dashboard under the windshield when you look at it from outside the car. So you are not going to lose the VIN# even if you couldn't fix the drivers side door plate.

The OP is posting about the frame number on the floor in front/under the passenger seat. It has a snap-on plastic cover that can come off if struck with a foot. It is not the VIN which is where you described it on the dash.

To the OP: I had the same issue early on with my 2013 ES but found that if properly seated the cover will stay on. This was nearly 5 years ago and it's still secure. GOOD LUCK!
