When you mean the corner lights, you mean the rear (outside) plug harness?

Default Will update when done

Just responding to this thread. My inner tail light driver side got moisture in it recently so instead of drying it out and figuring it out I decided to purchase the newer es tail lights to put on my 2013 es hybrid. I will update you guys if you even care when I get the tail lights sometime next week hopefully. I ordered used ones on eBay. We’ll see. Hopefully they work with my car. I ordered 2016-18 tail lights for my 2013

Default Update, it works (with some mods)

Okay I have my passenger side in to show you guys they do fit and they do work. The only thing is you have to make sure you order the new lights with the newer harness, the 2013 will not work, they have different connections. The 2016 harness works with the factory 2013 es300h harness to the car for the outside taillights, but the inner lights need some modding. I had to splice into the factory harness with a t-tap connector bypassing the factory harness . The 2016 inner light has a different end than the 2013. No biggie just had to go around. But other than that they work and they look amazing! Here’s a couple of photos .

I'm doing the same on my 2013 ES300h and I already installed the side 2016 taillights but the inner taillight connectors are different.. could u tell me which wire color to connect the t tap and which wire to cut? Please help me out.

I just completed this mod today. Like others said the Outer tail lights and harness fit without any problems, but the trunk lights don't seem to fit as flush as the original but do work. The old harness on the trunk light has 3 wires while the new light has 4 wires. The harness connection itself is also different so you would have to cut off the old harness and then splice and solder 2 of the 4 wires together from the new fixture to make 3 total wires to make things work. In picture 2 is the wires for the harness. sorry but I had already installed it before taking a picture but basically the black wire is ground the blue wire is for the backup light and then you combine the 2 remaining wires for the led light in to one . I personally did not cut off my old harness as I wanted to sell the lights but instead made a splice directly on to the harness wires of the car.

so blue is reverse which goes to red on the factory harness, white goes to brown, black goes to black and white, red goes to red, hope that helps.

So you are saying the harness (factory plug) is exactly the same 13 - 15 vs. 16?

the outside light the plug is the same you just need to add a LED resistance for the blinking lights so you don't have the hyper light and for the inside you need 3 cables frin the new light black for ground, green for the reverse light and blue for the brake light.
Any one can hit me with any questions for the rewiring.
