Default Blacked out Wheels

Had the old stock wheels from my ES 330 that I had snow tires on that still have some decent tread. Was considering a new set of wheels and thought I would "enhance" this set. What do you think? Have yet to put the set on the car to get the complete picture but they came out better than expected. Got the center caps on ebay for $10! Will be curious to see how they wear in Ohio Winters, but am anxious for Winter to put them on the car.

Nice. I would paint the caps matte as well though.

That is what my son recommended - the "design" major. It would be easy as the Chrome "L" clips off. Need to evaluate on the car but I painted with "dip" paint and they show it peeling right off?

Yea if you wanted to paint the cap, you could just paint the whole thing, cut out the L while it's still wet, and peel it off. I think it would look better VS matte and gloss back together. Just my opinion.

I know you posted about the trunk trim. Tbh the wheels need to go as well. Nothing against you just my honest opinion

Don't worry about it - flame away I do not take it personal. I can appreciate all the negative feedback.
