Just checking to see if anyone has installed, the so called, Wifi Screen Mirroring to take advantage of playing Youtube videos or use Google Maps for navigation?

 

Is this available on the stock nav system? I thought you would need a head unit with Mirrorlink or Apple CarPlay capability for this.

 

The local shop guy told me, it can be added on using factory system via A/V. I am not sure how the quality is though, so I thought I would ask if anyone has done this.

Since I have two headrest monitors installed for the kids, it would be nice to play Youtube videos for them during long trips to shut them up.
