Blinker fluid

I think my car leaked out blinker fluid. I put Blink-Fix fluid into my blinker fluid reservoir. How much does the dealer charge for a full fill up of blinker fluid?

What is blinker fluid?

mspearl95 May 5, 2015 09:13 AM

Its important to change all of your blinker fluid at once(all 4 corners), else the blink rates will end up being different. Call the dealer and ask them how much they charge for this service... usually not cheap. If you are actually leaking it out, it may be covered by warranty tho. Have them check your puddle lamp reservoir as well.

Don't forget to let winter air out of tires and put summer air in. You don't want your tires to blow up.

Reverse transmission also if you reverse a lot.

I swapped my engine to 4cyl and my transmission to 4 speed so now I have 4x4 for extra traction on dry roads.

I think you wasted your money. You could have just put 4 forward transmission and 4 reverse transmission for that 4x4 traction. Probably wayyy cheaper than engine swap.

I don't use reverse or forward though. I always use the N gear. It's faster because N stands for Nitro so I go faster and save gas and I can make cool noises by revving my engine

You should try driving in reverse once in a while just to decrease the mileage on your car.

I just buy a new speedometer when my
Mileage gets high so my mileage resets

warranty covers it 4yrs/50k....after that though your on your own. however, beware there are scammers out there selling water as blinker fluid.

Last weekend I installed an updated flux capacitor on my '13 ES350. What a difference! Found it on Ebay and it was from 1983. I was glad to bring it back to the future...

When I go on long distance trips sometimes I put AAA batteries into my gas tank whenever I fill up. That way I can run on battery in case I run out of gas.

Blinkers?? Are they people who blink a lot??

mrBillFL May 5, 2015 06:26 PM

I only change my blinker fluid every 4 years, but I use synthetic.
The air in my tires is changed once a year. Cause its so humid in So Fla.

But its the Kinnegeler gear you want to watch out for....
Toyota started making the out of plastic a few years ago, and they don't last like they use to.

Putting your car in reverse when you power off adds a few years to its life.

btw, this thread is full of WIN
