Rear Bumper Sensor Pushed In

1 Attachment(s)
My wife was cleaning the car the other day and she, for some reason, pushed one of the parking assist sensor inward into the bumper. Now there's a big visible intrusion in the bumper. The sensor is still functioning well but the visual disparity is driving me nuts... Is there a way to remedy this without taking the bumper off? I tried to pull it out with tapes and small suction cups but I could hardly move the thing (and probably did worse in pushing it in a little further). Anyone else have experience with this? Kindly advise...

If it were me, I would take it to Lexus and ask them what they suggest..

I'm surprised that she was able to even move that sensor. Geez, if she was just cleaning the bumper the sensor must not have been secured very tightly. I'd take it to Lexus and complain that it was too loose...

Bob- I like that answer! It really shouldn't be that loose and Lexus should fix it.

I had the same issue 1 month after I bought a brand new lexus rx350h (2023). Not sure how it happened, but I spoke with lexus dealership, they said bring in the car and they`ll fix it. But I wasnt happy with the fix and called them again, they inspected the car again and told me the sensor holder needs to be replaced and they`ll have to order a new one. The most annoying part was them sending me a text before each appointment telling me "for faster check out visit our secure payment link". And i always told them the car is under warranty to which they responded ... "oh diagnostic charges are up to technicians discretion".
Anyways, they replaced it and its good now, they haven't charged me anything for all 3 visit but it definitely gave me anxiety every time.
