Default Will the 2017 Honda Accord stock sport rims fit our Lexus es350? They’re both 5x114.3

Exclamation Gas mileage

Hello all! New to this forum. I have a grey Lexus ES300H and I am contemplating if I should buy rims. Has anyone with a hybrid experience a change in their total gas mileage due to adding wheels?

Consider this. Going to a taller tire will negitively affect your MPG. Going to a wider tire will do the same and make the steering wheel heavier when cornering.

If you stay with the same size and find a lighter rims, you may enjoy improved mileage,, slightly.

Most want to go from the 17s to either 18s or larger and usually wider that is why I made my point first up top. When I upgraded my wife's Prius to a CT200h her only complaint was the steering wheel felt heavier and she went from 49-50 to 41.5 MPG. The wheels and tires aren't the only reason for the drop but rest assured, If I put the Prius skinny 15" wheels and tires on the CT.. Mileage would improve. Many Prius owners have put 17" and 18" on their Pri's and all have suffered losses in the MPG area.

Thanks for your input. I would be jumping from 17 inches to 20 inches. Right now I am averaging 36 MPG. So I assume this number will drop if I add 20 inch wheels?

Without a doubt. For many it's worth the trade-off. Considering how nice your vehicle will look.

True, and gas is very cheap at the moment. I think wheels will make a significant difference in the exterior look.

I threw 19's onto my car, and I noticed a slight change - I think I normally get 6.4L/100 but that's a lot of highway @~120-130km/h.

with the rims, maybe 6.6L/100

Hi Jae,

It's been awhile since I've posted here. I've since given the Lexus to my daughter. I now have a 2019 Audi A6 Prestige with 21" stock wheels.

I still have those wheels in the picture but will have to dig em up to see what the offsets are on them.

Just picked up some 18x8's for my '13 ES350. Only thing is.. they are a +30 offset. Will these work? I've got 235/45/18 Continental Extremecontact DSW06's tires already purchased for the rims. Stock suspension. No interest at this time in lowering it.

Use the website https://www.wheel-size.com/calc/?whe...cl=50mm&sr=0mm . Plug your original numbers into the left side and the 'new' numbers into the right. It'll show you clearance differences, speedometer corrections, etc.
