Also, they still can't explain why I could feel the ventilation in the GS from the bottom of the seat.
My wife drives the GS and it is air condition seat, and yes it works excellent.

The seats in the GS (ES too) are ventilated, not air conditioned. Cabin air is circulated thru them with no additional cooling. I don't know if any model of Lexus has actual AC seats, unless maybe the LS.

Actually they are cooled seats, back side and the bottom of the seat, it's 2008 GS 450h.

The seats in the GS are absolutely not air conditioned, they are ventilated only, same as the ES.

Air circulates from the seat bottom in my GS though.

This was true pre 2013. Might want to find a new "tech expert". As poor as my seats ventilate, I still feel airflow from both the bottom and back of the seat.

Was it just the bottom?

The backs and bottoms of my 2007 and 2010 were ventilated.

As previously mentioned, the airflow probably could have been better on both cars, but I'd rather have the feature than be without it.

Drove the wife's car and it is cold air, passed by the dealership and asked the service advisor and he informed me my wife's car is
front ventilated and cooled seats not just ventilated.

Really.

Even the 2008 GS450h owners manual says ventilator.

He's wrong. Might be something different about how the vents direct air on the GS, but they are not cooled seats.

Look here on Lexus.com

"Heated and ventilated front seats"

It's sounding more and more that Idlefree's issue with the ventilated seats in the ES are unmet expectations vs. anything wrong with them.

LexBob2, I know the difference between expectations and ventilated seat that isn't working properly. If that was the case Lexus would not agree to review my concern.
