I also noticed 2 other things.

In the U.S. the ES350 gets this rear end treatment. Yours looks like the hybrid rear end offered here.

Does your rear seat arm rest look like this pic I took off of the Lexus AE site?

In the U.S. ours are black.

Perhaps your Lexus parts guy could get you the 2 part numbers.

Thanks,

I see your point now

For some reason the parts folks at Lexus/Toyota here are very insecure about giving away part numbers. That's my experience in the past. They probably don't want people to get a part number and then buy the part elsewhere or online. I will still go visit them and get back to you in a couple of days.

Lexus AE is the correct site for our region.

If you got to the SPECIFICATIONS section, you will notice there are perhaps 4 versions of the ES and not all of them have the wood trim or full wood trim.

I can confirm that my rear arm rest looks exactly like the picture you posted

What are the two buttons on the side of the front passenger seat for in this picture? We definitely don't have those on ours.

Those are so the rear passengers can adjust the position of the front seat if they are being driven/chauferred. The LS in the US has those buttons.

You may see the wood trim along with some other goodies in the mid cycle refresh.
Toyota will hold things back for the refresh.

I would be surprised if this color is not offered in the US under a different name!

Usually most market excluding US and Japan get fewer options and/or colors.

Hope the pictures help you get a clear picture of the color in reality
Congratulations...love that interior color combo with the added wood grain.

IIRC, I saw a similar car like yours in that same area late last year. I was web surfing looking at the different config between US ESs and the rest of the world before I took delivery of mine in January. Of course, like many of us in the US, we wish those extra features had been offered here.

BTW, would you be interested in lowering your ES? If yes, we're gathering names to try and have coilovers made for our vehicles.

Nice!

Ashtray on the passenger side handle. What's the button on the side of the seats?

TXES, upon seeing that panel other than piano black. I think I like the black better.

I like the beige interior with the black carpet. It's good it doesn't have the airbag warning sticker on the sun visor.

Available with mud guards? Is this a hybrid model? Tach is up to rpm but rear bumper is hybrid.

Strange the rear tail looks like the ES hybrid, but it's not a hybrid with the ES350 badge and without the blue L badge. Also the interior wood isn't bamboo, which is only available in the hybrid.

I looked at the AE Lexus website and found that the top of the line ES, according to the AE web site sells for 220,000 United Arab Emirates Dirham which equals $59,896.54 US Dollars.

That's pretty cheap for over there.

I've got the headlamp washers on the GS, you ain't missing much! All they do is spray washer fluid all over the hood.

the previous generation RX washers were notorious for popping out and rocketing into space. sounds like they still have some re-engineering to do
