How have I not seen this thread before? This is exactly what I've been looking for. I just wish they weren't on back order.

The tabs that stick out of the bulbs so they spin a little easier.

I have no idea what you are talking about but okay. I still can't get the old bulb out so I gave up.

Once you were able to twist it counter clockwise to the end stop, did you try to wiggle it out? There may be one or two O rings on the housing that makes it a bit tight to pull out.

I think X is talking about bending the tabs of the new bulbs to make it easier to turn.

Hi X,

Based on your experience with fitment. Do you think these fit?

There's a heat sink at the base vs the one you installed.

Thanks.

I see that Vled finally got the 5K h11 bulbs in stock, at 59 the pair.

It was the 5K that was on back order before. These are suppose to be the closest light temp to the Lexus HIDs.

The OP used 6K, which is why I referenced his original link. Do you have a pic with the 5K's installed?

I just tried AGAIN to turn and wiggle the OE bulbs out from underneath and they refuse to budge so I don't know what I am doing wrong. I have the 5K LED bulbs but I can't install them. Now I am going to have to pay to have someone do it. It is so frustrating.

MAJOR PITA... trying to get the LEDs in the fog light housing. I dread removing them. I may be able to remove one without damaging the housing; not sure about the other.

They look great compared to my HID fog lights but again a lot more work to installed them.

I finally got the H11 LED bulbs in. They look great! I got the 5K color and they are almost an exact match to the headlights and they are very bright. LED lighting has sure come a long way. I'm sure in 5 years all cars will have LED headlights.
