Default Default city for XM NavWeather forecasts?

Is there anyway to set the default city for weather forecasts? Every time you open it you have to find the city you want. Very annoying. Seems like such a basic feature.

I don't think there is. Seems you have to select it each time. Bummer.

Agreed, I was looking for some way to set a default city as well. Pretty useless to have to navigate through the cities everytime, I might as well just check on my phone in 1/10 of the time. In general have not been all that impressed by some of the usability of the navigation system. I find myself having to take my eyes off the road a lot to use pretty basic things.

I do not think you can. XM Radio is a one-way data flow. Car can't send signal to the satellite and ask for specific region(s) to download. It just receives a stream of information covering all the regions and displays the one according your current location. Of course, you can goto the App and show weather of other cities.

I do like the Gas Prices. Other than that, not much else is useful including the Traffic Incident which seems to be a step backwards.

From the map you can select the city icon circle/dot, then select 'Info' button and the forcast for that city will be displayed.

And why can't it give you the forecast of where you actually are. It knows from the weather map your location. Useless. And... the map should have a legend to what the colors are for rain/snow/mixes precipitation.
