Went to movies last night and then went next door to In-N-Out Burger - waited in the car line to bring home a hamburger to my wife - there was an attendant taking orders and when I finally reached him and after he took our order he said "you can turn on your car now and go to window #2" - I said my car is on - it's a Hybrid!

 

The 300h is our first hybrid and I panicked on the test drive when at a stoplight and heard no sound. I thought the engine had died. Also, my wife already called me once to say the car would not start, when it had. The silence of the electric motor is taking a little time to get used to.

 

thank goodness for the "ready" light that turns on when you start the hybrid

 

I'm still reaching for my keys to turn the car on and off!

 

You'll get used to it. Took me a while too. If I wasn't so in love with the size and utility of the SUV size, I'd look at the ESh next time around. But sometimes I carry up to two Segway's in the rear with the seats down. Can't do that in a sedan.
