rain-sensing wipers with deicer
 

can someone who has used this or have this feature on another lexus comment on this feature?

does the deicer de-ice the whole windshield? (just like the embedded wires in the rear windshield)
or does it just de-ice the area where the wipers are normally at rest?

The de-icer only runs along the base of the windshield where the wipers rest.

Dang it. It would've been nice to have the while windshield. Thanks for the response!

Yeah, its not a heated windshield like you see on some models.
